What Is CrystLCare™ Regeneration+?

How Does It Work?

STEP 1
Apply
A thin, dissolvable strip is placed directly over the affected area of the tooth.

STEP 2
Target
As the strip dissolves it releases submicron starch particles containing calcium, phosphate and fluoride. These particles are targeted right to where the tooth needs them.

STEP 3
Form Enamel Mineral
The bioactive mineral ions are released from the particles by salivary enzymes and crystallize to form fluorapatite, a strong acid-resistant form of enamel.

How to Use Application Instructions
Once your dental professional has started your treatment, here's how to continue at home. Always follow your dental professional's specific instructions for frequency and duration.

Clean & Prepare
Brush teeth with toothpaste, rinse with water, and floss before use.

Open & Remove
Dry hands first. Open the pouch by pulling apart the sealed end. Remove the strip right before use.

Moisten
Moisten teeth with water.

Apply
Place either side of the strip onto the affected area. Fold excess behind or around the tooth and press gently until it adheres. Remoisten and reposition if needed.

Wait (3 min)
Leave in place for at least 3 minutes. The strip is dissolvable — do not swallow it whole.

Protect (30 min)
Spit out any excess if you'd like. Don't eat or drink for 30 minutes.

Use as Directed
Follow your dental professional's directions for how often and how long to continue treatment.

A non-invasive, Rx-Only treatment for early tooth decay. A dissolvable strip delivers calcium, phosphate and fluoride ions to where they are needed most, to help restore enamel mineral in the tooth subsurface (i.e., better than fluoride, which only affects the extreme upper surface layer).
Yes. CrystLCare™ Regeneration+ is available by prescription only, after a dental professional evaluates your teeth and confirms it's appropriate for you.
Both use the same patented nanotechnology to deliver minerals to damaged tooth structure. CrystLCare™ Biorestorative is designed for quick and effective sensitivity relief. CrystLCare™ Regeneration+ adds fluoride to the formulation, creating fluorapatite crystals, which are stronger and more acid-resistant than the hydroxyapatite crystals formed by the fluoride-free version. CrystLCare™ Regeneration+ is a prescription product; the fluoride-free version is available over the counter.
People with early tooth decay, early (incipient) caries lesions, one or more “watch” areas, white spot lesions (including from braces or aligners), or non-cavitated lesions may be candidates subject to a dental evaluation. It's not appropriate for visibly broken or cavitated teeth, or dental emergencies.
Your dental professional applies the first strip during your visit. You then continue applying strips at home, following their specific instructions.
Yes after your dental professional initiates treatment in-office, you continue at home. Always follow the frequency and duration they prescribe for you.
Leave the strip in place for at least 3 minutes while it dissolves. Avoid eating or drinking for 30 minutes afterward.
The targeted mineral-delivery of CrystLCare™ products can also help occlude exposed dentinal tubules, which may provide relief from tooth sensitivity. Ask your dental professional whether this applies to you.
CrystLCare™ Regeneration+ is designed for early, non-cavitated decay, not for treating an existing cavity (i.e. not once it becomes a hole). If your tooth is visibly broken, cavitated, or painful, please see a dentist.
