How do I appear offline e.g. for when I'm attending events?+
You can click the "On-Call" button off, so if you are out and about and you don't want to be disturbed you can leave it off until you are available. Generally, you want to leave it on so you are available.
How do I know if it is an emergency appointment, and how long will the patient wait for a provider?+
Patients will be matched to available providers that are willing to take emergency appointments, they will be notified that the patient is requesting an emergency appointment and the provider will be given 5 minutes to accept the request before the patient will be matched to another provider. Providers that are not on the app will receive a text with a link, if you accept the emergency appointment you will receive an SMS of a passcode that will connect to the patient in order to access the patient's information.
What if there are no providers that accepted the emergency appointment, what will happen to the patient?+
Our back-office team will then work on to try and help the patient connect, they will be calling providers and asking if they are willing to take the appointment and then connect them directly.
What are the requirements for a provider to be able to write an e-prescription?+
You need to update your NPI and DEA number in order for us to validate it and give us a few hours to activate this.
For providers that has licenses from different state, will you allow them to utilize the platform?+
Providers can appear in different states as long as they update their licenses with the correct information and date of expiration.
What informations do we get when patients will request an emergency appointment?+
Providers will get the basic information such as what is the problem, how many days are they in pain, how old they are, and what type of insurance they have. It will then be up to you whether you accept the request or not.
How does direct connect work?+
It works like zoom or google meet, the provider can customize their own link and send it to the patient to essentially connect with the patient directly. You can see both the patient's camera and the intraoral camera as well, you can take pictures and invite other providers using the same link.
How will I save my notes during teledentistry appointments?+
After appointments with every patient, all those notes, photos, and the video as well, it's saved directly to the patient's profile and you can export it for later use.
Can you send message to patients for follow ups?+
Yes, there is a chat feature available on the platform wherein you can chat to a patient and or send messages to providers and offices as well. Do note that everything is encrypted, so everything is safe. You can send files if you want to.
How can I connect to patients for my mobile dentistry?+
You can add your zip codes on your profile so we know where you are available and we can match patients who want to avail mobile dentistry.
Is there a way for providers to add other type of services that they offer?+
You can customize your dashboard on Dentulu whether you want to showcase the other type of services you want to offer and create a price tag as well.
Is there a way for providers to check how much they have earned?+
There is a transaction history available on the platform wherein you can review each transaction and after that you can withdraw your earnings directly to your bank account.
What if I opt out of receiving new patients?+
You can still use the platform without receiving new patients, you can turn off that feature or we can have it disabled for you. So you can still use Dentulu with your existing patients.
