Pin Hole Procedure
The pinhole surgical technique‚ also known as pinhole gum surgery, is one of several treatment option for gum recession and thinning gum tissue. It is a minimally invasive technique to manage gum recession where a dental professional makes a small incision in your gums above the recessed area. Then, they move the gum tissue further down and secure it to cover the exposed tooth structure. Dental professionals can also add additional bone and PRF (a fibrin mesh created using the patient's own coagulated blood) to thicken the gums and increase bone density.
